New Data on DC LGBTQ Youth

Real Data from DC High Schools confirms what we've heard anecdotally:  from the YRBS: one out of 11 lesbian, gay, or bisexual high school students had to be treated by a doctor or nurse as a result of an attempted suicide.  I'm glad to report the DC Center Youth Working Group has formed a subcommittee looking at mental health and suicide prevention, but there is so much more we can do in this area.  It's time for all of us to come together.   thedccenter.org/2017yrbs/
